The International Electricity Infrastructure Assurance Forum announces its Third Annual Meeting. The IEIA Forum is a collaboration of industry and government from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom and United States. The conference will bring together government and electric energy participants for in depth exchange on current infrastructure assurance/critical infrastructure protection topics. The agenda will include keynote speaker addressing topical issues with sessions on cyber security and protection, reliability and resiliency of the electric energy system, critical infrastructure interdependencies, standards and best practices experience, pandemic update as well as country and industry updates and exchange on effective collaboration.

Hotel InformationThe Hotel Windsor hotel is located in Melbourne’s downtown district and is just 30-minute taxi ride from the city’s international airport. (Allow 45 minutes for peak travel times).
Built in 1883, the hotel bills itself as Australia’s only independent “Grand Hotel.” It is located across the street from the Victoria state parliament building and within walking distance of Fitzroy Gardens and the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Rooms have broadband Internet access for a fee, tea and coffee equipment, satellite television with pay-per-view, and a 10-pillow menu including “Firm Feel” and “Feather Light” options. Wireless Internet is also available in public areas for a fee. The entire hotel is non-smoking.

Meeting LocationMelbourne Victoria is the hub of a 3.8 million-population area on Australia’s southeastern shore.
